The best OnePlus phone 2023

OnePlus was founded on the concept of ‘flagship killers’ – smartphones that offer top-tier specs and lower prices than their competitors.

This is not the company’s mode of operation anymore, but it’s still a good idea. OnePlus continues to make excellent Android phones and they now offer a wide price range, from the most expensive handsets on the market to budget-friendly options.

OnePlus phones excel in pure performance. They also offer fast charging and a smooth software experience that is still among the best Android, even though Oppo has more control over the operating system.

We’ve ranked the ten most OnePlus phones that we tested across all of the company’s product lines. You can also find links to our complete reviews for more detail analysis.

Keep in mind that not all phones on the list will be available in your area. OnePlus releases different phones in different markets. You might want to wait if you are looking for something more expensive. The flagship OnePlus11 just launched in China and will be available worldwide in February.

Best OnePlus phones 2023

1. OnePlus Nord 2T – Best overall

  • Excellent value
  • Great main camera
  • Fast charging at 80W

  • No wireless charging
  • There is no waterproofing
  • Only 90Hz

The OnePlus Nord 2T, an updated version of the excellent Nord 2, is available. You’ll find it further down.

The Nord 2T builds on the strengths of the Nord 2 and adds two key features: a faster wired charging and a more powerful processor. It’s also officially less expensive than the Nord 2 despite these upgrades.

This phone is not only the best OnePlus smartphone right now, it’s also the best midrange phone from any company.

2. OnePlus 10 Pro – The best for photography

  • Super-fast charging at 80W
  • Battery life is amazing
  • Amazing specs

  • Camera inconsistency
  • No IP rating

MSRP: Rs66,999

Best Price Today: Rs66999 At OnePlus

The OnePlus 10 Pro is their flagship phone and is the best in photography. However, it’s not the best value for money.

This is still a great flagship with theSnapdragon8 Gen 1 chip, impressive battery and nippy wired charging of 80W (plus wireless charging).

There are also some drawbacks. There are downsides.

3. OnePlus 10T – The best for performance

  • Amazing 8+ Gen 1 performance
  • Fast charging of insanely high 150W
  • Excellent flat 120Hz display

  • No alert slider
  • No wireless charging
  • No IP rating outside US

The OnePlus 10T flagship is an affordable option that acts as a halfway point between the 10 Pro and Nord 2T.

Although it is very similar to the 10 Pro’s design, the layout lacks some niceties such as the curved display and alert slider. It has the same flagship specs as the Pro, but it also features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset and superfast 150W wired charge.

Its weak point is the camera. The camera has the exact same setup as the Nord 2T but costs a lot more. The 10 Pro is the best OnePlus option for gamers and those who want the fastest charging. However, photography enthusiasts will enjoy the 10 Pro.

4. OnePlus Nord 2 – The best on a tight budget

  • Excellent value
  • Great main camera
  • Glass construction

  • No wireless charging
  • There is no waterproofing
  • Only 90Hz

MSRP: Starting at Rs27,999

For a long time, the Nord 2 was the best OnePlus phone. It had a great balance of features, specs and price. We even named it the best midrange phone of 2021. Although the Nord 2T may have replaced it, the 2 is still a great value option.

The Nord 2 is powered by a MediaTek chipset. It packs fast 65W charging, an excellent main camera (borrowed form the flagship 9 series), as well as a simple glass design.

The price is reasonable considering you won’t get the most expensive features such as waterproofing and wireless charging. We are not surprised that the display has a 90Hz resolution rather than 120Hz. However, this is an acceptable compromise.

5. OnePlus 10R – Great Indian option

  • Amazing performance
  • Rapid charging speed
  • Excellent display
  • Excellent value

  • Mediocre camera performance
  • Alert slider missing
  • Wireless charging and IP rating are not available.

MSRP: Rs38999

Best Prices Today:Rs38999 at OnePlus

Although the OnePlus 10R is not available outside India, it is worth looking into.

The OnePlus 10T is a mid-range smartphone that is very similar in many respects to this handset. It has the same 150W charging (though a lower 80W model is also readily available) and similar cameras.

Although it doesn’t have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max found here is excellent. Although it’s not top-tier, it will still deliver a great experience. It also keeps the phone significantly cheaper than the 10T.

6. OnePlus 9RT

  • Rapid performance
  • Great display
  • Battery life is excellent

  • There is no waterproofing
  • No Telephoto Camera
  • China & India-only

MSRP: Rs42,999

Best Price Today: Rs42999 At OnePlus

The OnePlus 9RT is officially only available in China and India. It’s arguably the best smartphone in the 2021 9 series.

The design elements of the OnePlus 9 are still used, but the 6.62in display is slightly larger. It also has the same Snapdragon 888 chipset as the 120Hz AMOLED display.

Although the camera was chopped and modified using the 50Mp ultra-wide sensor from the 9 Pro here for the main camera of the 9RT, the results are still solid, especially considering the lower price.

Although it is not the most powerful OnePlus 9 smartphone, it does have a lot of potential.

7. OnePlus Nord N20 5G

  • Solid performance
  • Good cameras
  • Fast charging at 33W
  • Beautiful AMOLED display

  • Display only 60Hz
  • Motor vibrations are weak
  • Only one major software upgrade was promised

If you live in Canada or the US, the Nord N20 5G is an excellent device that offers decent value for money.

It feels great in your hand, despite being only $300. The phone’s look and feel is comparable to the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G and Galaxy A53, which is a huge win for OnePlus.

The Snapdragon 695 chipset also comes in a solid performance, even though it isn’t the most powerful chip from Qualcomm.

Although there are some drawbacks, such as a slow refresh rate, insufficient waterproofing, and a weak vibration motor that will only receive one Android update per year, these issues won’t be a problem for everyone.
